practices around wealth. And in 2008, Kirby spearheaded the Alignment Study, comparing and contrasting
men’s and women’s different approaches to wealth. Presently, she is leading an international study
exploring the relationship between the family business and the family office. Preliminary findings were
shared at the Family Firm Institute and GenSpring’s Family Symposium in the fall of 2009 and phase II
of the study is ongoing.
